VEDA persons without a group entry date (the start of their first employment with the organization) are not synced.
VEDA has no fixed absence types. Each booking key configured as an absence in VEDA is synced as an absence type, except the excluded booking keys in the integration settings.
VEDA’s API returns only approved absences so pending requests are not synced. VEDA groups consecutive days with the same booking key into one absence instead of preserving the original request. Extending, splitting, or partially canceling an absence can therefore replace it with one or more absences that have new IDs.
Only vacation balances are synced because VEDA’s API does not expose other time accounts. Approved future vacation is deducted from the synced balance.
