Overview

Rehire Employee brings a former employee back in the connected HRIS. Get the fields the HRIS accepts for the new job, collect the required values, then submit them.

Implementation

  1. Get the rehire form for the employee.
  2. Send the required values in properties, using the field keys returned by GET.

Get Rehire Form

Get the fields the HRIS needs to rehire this employee.

Rehire Employee

Send the filled form to rehire the employee.
employee_id accepts the Kombo ID or the HRIS ID as remote:<id>. To rehire into a specific position or requisition, pass its Kombo ID as staffing_entity_id. Use the same ID for GET and POST. See staffing entities for details. Requires the Create and manage employees permission in your scopes.
